⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mollie Stone's Market is a fantastic grocery store with a great selection of fresh produce, quality meats, bakery items, and specialty products. The store is clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate, making shopping a pleasant experience. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the quality of the products is consistently excellent. I especially liked the variety of local and organic options available throughout the store. Even though prices can be a bit higher than larger supermarket chains, the quality, convenience, and overall shopping experience make it worth it. A great neighborhood market for anyone looking for fresh ingredients and excellent customer service in Palo Alto.

Dec 2025 visit: I visited in a Sunday morning after walking through the nearby Cal Ave Farmer's Market. I'd previously heard of Mollie Stone Market in San Francisco, when a friend needed kosher items for a holiday. This was a fun, very large, comprehensive grocery store with produce, ready to eat items on hot & cold bar, deli, bakery, all sorts of dry goods along with a great ice cream selection and fun goods. I didn't need anything so I was happy to browse and look at all the local (and somewhat local) products from northern California! Prices are a tad higher than further south, but if Mollie Stone has your items - you probably won't need to drive to other shops for the rest of your list.

This is a very nice neighborhood market with lots of organic and authentic food products options. Prices are astronomically high, but I belive that is pretty much established here in Palo Alto, CA. The fruits and veggies are fresh and the store is not too crowded. You always find what you look for and there's someone to help you most of the time. I highly recommend this grocery store to old palo alto neighbors and other folks in the area. Let's support local businesses more than corporate giants.

This is a super friendly and comfy local store. They have lots of variety, near-expiry deals on meat (I got a $3.50 steak cut once that had a best buy date two days away - amazing!), and a nice collection of pastries and cakes. The prices on daily items are a little expensive, but they have a wide selection. They also have MASSIVE vegetables.

Beautiful grocery with very good produce and specialty chocolates. Thats all I need for lasting happiness. It has a nice friendly vibe from all the employees as well. Would highly recommend!
